Mojo Monday & Scroll Punch Tutorial

Today's card was inspired by Mojo Monday's 242 Challenge.  I really like the simple layout and know I've made cards in the past just like this (layout). Finished size is an A-6.
It is pretty self explanatory except for the scroll panel.  So, I created a tutorial shown below.
I discovered this scroll punch from Becca Feeken (Amazing Paper Grace) a few months ago.  I knew I had to have it so I shopped around and found it on Amazon.com.  I've used it a little but today while making my card I started playing the the punched scrolls.  I discovered you can create a panel of hearts!
Option 1: Punch 2 or more paper panels.

One way to use it is to cut off the borders as shown here.

Glue one strip to your cardstock.  I love SU!'s 2 way glue pen for this.

For this option don't cut the borders off one of your strips.  Just flip the strip over and glue down, matching it up with the other strip.  Then just cut away what you don't want.
Option 2:

With this option only cut away the border on one side.  Glue down first strip then match up the 2nd strip before cutting off one of the borders to make sure to cut the right one off.  Glue down.  See the hearts?!
After this picture was taken I used my Perfect Layers ruler to trim away the white leaving a 1/16th inch border on each side.
So, here are 2 of the possible options but I plan to have fun playing with it again to see what else I can come up with.  Becca used it to make a rectangular frame and I have used it to make a square one.  And yes, those are my kitty Kali's feet in the picture.  She paid me a visit while I was taking pictures.
Until next time!
