Serendipity Stamps - January Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Serendipity Stamps January Blog Hop!
The theme this month is Anything Goes!

Lately I've been playing with Graphic 45's Nature Sketchbook
paper and thought they would be a good pairing with some of
Serendipity's floral and garden stamps.

I decorated an envelope and tag for the HOP.

I made a little seed packet with a subtle patterned paper and the
Serendipity Stamp Daisy Seed Packet.  It tucks into a pocket on the big tag.

The HOP Prize is a $20 Serendipity Stamps Gift Certificate
to a random commenter.
You can leave comments from Wednesday through Sunday
and Mary will announce the winner on Monday.

Here is the list of Design Team members participating in the HOP:

G45 Safari Pop-Up Box

I've got another Graphic 45 Safari Adventure card to show you today.
This one is an A-2 when folded flat.  To start I used a card base from
The Paper Cut, Pop-Up Box in Black.

I decorated the outside of the box before I assembled it.
After assembling it I added the inside
layers with the birds and grass.

I fussy cut the birds and some of the flowers on the front tag.
The grass is an Impression Obsession die.

Here is a closeup of the birds.  Some of them are glued to the inside
by their tails and others I added with a strip of acetate.
This card can be seen in person at Impressive Ideas in Norcross, GA.

Have a great week!

  • Graphic 45 Safari Adventure Collection: 12 x 12 paper, 8x8 paper pad, 6x6 paper pad
  • Dies: Impression Obsession: Grass  DIE038-J
  • Card: The Paper Cut- Black A-2 Pop-Up Box Card

Serendipity Stamps - March Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Serendipity Stamps March Blog Hop!

This month the theme is "Circles or Dots".
Check out the SSCB here to play along.
We are just 1/2 way through the month so you still have time!

The Design Team has an added challenge on this hop to include
Encouragement/Congratulations in our projects.

You should have arrived here from:

For my "Dots" blue layer I stamped the Beaded String Background
stamp in Versamark and sponged on Phahalo Blue PanPastel.

My big orange butterfly was stamped in Tangy Orange ink twice with
my MISTI tool then stamped one last time in Versamark.
I clear embossed it for some shine.

Inside my card is the encouragement quote, What Lies Behind Us.
I embossed it with Versafine Onyx Black ink and clear embossing powder.

The small butterfly is cut out of patterned paper which ended up
being too busy for the fussy die cut.  So, I added some Versamark ink
to it and sponged on Chrom Oxide Green PanPastel.

Finished size is 4 1/2 square.

To enter the HOP Contest to win you can leave comments on the
Design Team's Blogs through Sunday, March 20.

The prize is a $20 gift certificate to Serendipity Stamps.
Mary will announce the winner on her blog on Monday, March 21.

Next on the HOP is:

Serendipity Stamps - Anything Goes!

It's February 1st so its time for a new
challenge over at the Serendipity Stamps Blog Challenge!
It is ANYTHING GOES!  What could be easier???
You have until Midnight February 28 to linkup your designs!

I decided to go the nature route for my card today.  I just love the butterfly and plant
images Serendipity has.  My background is made with Dylusions paints then die cut.
All the images are stamped with Versafine and heat embossed with clear powder.

Inside my card I stamped the fern again with Dylusions paint.
Finished size is 4 1/8 square.

The 50% off stamp of the month is the Tandem Bicycle stamp! Cute, huh?

For our Guest Designer this month,

SSCB: TAG IT! Part 2

The month of December brings another challenge at the
Serendipity Stamps Blog Challenge!
TAGS are the theme this month. Play along with our
challenge and have the chance to win a $20 Gift Card for
Serendipity Stamps!

I decided to do a non-Christmas tag using the Cottage die and the cute Bird dies.
To make the cottage a birdhouse I just used a round die to cut an entry hole.
And, the window box makes a great perch!
