Serendipity Stamps - Hidden Gems #2

Continuing with the Hidden Gems challenge for you from the
Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog.
To participate just use any of Serendipity's images or dies in your creation and something from your stash that you haven't used in awhile for a chance to win!

I did a little masking which I haven't done in a while.  I dusted off my Post-It notes and covered the strawberries in the corner and the blue flowers. Next, I stamped my blue bells stamp in green ink there at the bottom.  They fill in the blank space nicely.

I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to position the sentiment and butterfly.
I just love stamping on patterned paper!

Inside my card I stamped the Blue bells again and one of the lovely 4 butterflies from the Butterfly Set.  I used Distress Ink for a subtle look.

Finished size is 6" x 4 1/4".

Feel like shopping? The sale this week is free shipping on any

Serendipity Stamps - Hidden Gems #1

With the new month we are starting a Hidden Gems challenge
To participate just use any of Serendipity's images or dies in your creation and something from your stash that you haven't used in awhile for a chance to win!

For my card I used two things from my stash that I haven't used in awhile.  I pulled out my trusty Stamp-a-ma-jig to position the floral corners and sentiment on my card.  I also used my Versafine - Smokey Grey ink for the sentiment.  I wanted  a color a bit softer than black.

Inside my card I stamped the floral corner again and one of the lovely 4 butterflies from the Butterfly Set.  Adds a nice nature touch I think.

Finished size is 6 1/4" x 5 1/4".

This week's sale is buy 3 get 1 free.   Good through Jan 14th!

Serendipity Stamps - January Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Serendipity Stamps January Blog Hop!!  We have a bunch of new products to show you today and I have 2 cards I made.

You should have arrived here from the talented:

As you can see I used a bunch of new dies! The heart border is great to use full sized or you can cut it down to be smaller.  I went a little overboard on mine!

The inside is adorned with more die cuts and a LOVE image.
Finished size is 5 1/2" square.

My next card is a little one featuring the new heart die.
I just love the swirly inside!
I popped up the red outside layer to give it depth.

Inside I used the the heart again with opposite colors.
I couldn't resist using a little Graphic 45 paper from their new
Time to Flourish Collection.
Finished size is 4 3/8" square.

SILVER or GOLD to the mix.

I love this window corner image.  I added a few touches of GOLD for the Designer Challenge.  The candles and poinsettia centers are highlighted with a touch of SMOOCH (Pearlized Accent Ink).  It comes in a neat little bottle with a tiny brush applicator.

The other touch of GOLD is some gold mirror paper as a mat behind the image and again behind the green postage layer. The image is colored with Copic markers.

Inside I stamped one of my favorite sentiments, Warmest Wishes. I just love the message and the font.

Finished size is an A2 - 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.

Birdhouse Ornament

Cheery Lynn makes the CUTEST birdhouse die you've ever seen!
It has so many possibilities.  I've made a bunch of Christmas tags with it and I wanted to show you the Christmas ornament I made. I added some holly from the Impression Obsession Holly Flourish die and a few red rhinestones for berries.

Here are a couple of the Christmas tags I made with it.  The actual tag die is from Impression Obsession too.  I really had fun assembling them!
Happy Holidays!

G45 - Time to Flourish - Christmas

Graphic 45 recently came out with a spectacular new line of papers etc. called Time to Flourish.  It is the most beautiful line of florals they have ever done!  I will be using this paper A LOT over the next year for cards, calendars and gifts.  It is ideal for making calendars and there is an 8x8 paper pad with just the months of the year.

For this card I decided to use one of the matching ephemera cards.  I matted it with green and cream papers and adhered it to a brown card.  Using the paper from the 6x6 pad I die cut a poinsettia and layered it on with a triple twine bow under it.

The sentiments inside and out are from a  new Stampendous set called Christmas Wishes.
Finished size is 6 1/2 x 4 1/2.

  • Stamps: Stampendous - Christmas Wishes
  • Ink: Versafine - Vintage Sepia, Cat's Eye - Chestnut Roan chalk ink
  • Paper: Graphic 45 - Time to Flourish: Ephemera Cards, 8 x 8 & 6 x 6 paper pads, brown and cream cardstock
  • Dies:  Spellbinders - Poinsettia Set
  • Other: May Arts - Natural Twine, gold gems, Wink of Stella Clear Pen

Serendipity - Sparkle & Shine SSCB #38

With the new month we are starting a Sparkle & Shine challenge for you from the  Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog.
To participate just use any of Serendipity's related images or dies in your creation for a chance to win!
For an extra challenge for the Design Team we added SNOW to the mix.

I love this little sledding snowman and sentiment!  To keep it chilly I stamped it in blue and colored everything in greys and blues.  It could be a tag for a special present or a bookmark.  I made a little tassel for the tie out of blue and white twine.  They are so easy to make!

For my sparkle I used some glue to add Clear Rock Candy glitter over the snow areas.  The word SNOW is highlighted with some clear Wink of Stella for a little MORE sparkle!

Finished size is 3 x 7 1/4.

This week's sale is a 40% off coupon.  Enter "40fromhigh1214" to get 40% off the highest priced item in your cart.
