Flourishes Spring! SSSC110

Of course Flourishes has a new spring set!   I took the nest and added the bird (cut out and popped) for a fun card.  The layout is from the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 110 but I made mine square, 4.5 x 4.5.
Copics I used:
Branch & nest: E21, E23, E25, E27
Eggs & background: BG10, BG70, BG72, BG75
Leaves: YG61, YG63, YG67
Bird: B91, B93, B95.
Maybe I'll find a pretty nest like this with eggs in it this spring in my garden!

BIG Bee SSSC98 & OCCC

This week's challenge at Our Creative Corner is to make a thank you card using blues and creams for color, some metal, and some vellum.  I combined it with the SSSC98 Design Challenge (for the layout) and here is what I created.  Some of my stamping friends think I'm strange for liking interesting bug stamps and paper - too BAD!  I think this Judikins bee is GREAT and it fit in with the new SU! Botanical Gazette DSP. The wings are vellum stamped with navy ink and clear embossed. Size is 5 x 4.75.
  • Stamps:  JUDIKINS 2340 H Big Bee, SU! sentiment : Fundamental Phrases
  • Ink: SU! Craft:  Night of Navy & Not Quite Navy
  • Paper: SU! : Botanical Gazette DSP, Not Quite Navy, Naturals Ivory, vellum cardstock
  • Other: yellow gemstones, SU! Word Window punch, vintage brads, CM circle cutters, Fiskars scalloped scisssors, clear EP, heat gun
