Serendipity Stamps - MAY Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Serendipity HOP for MAY!  I've been playing with the new
Distress Oxide Inks and made this background with those inks.

I stamped the roller coaster with Versafine Onyx Black
and added some black glaze pen to it.
I used more Oxide inks and a paintbrush to fill in the flags and trees.

I stamped the sentiment with Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Ink.
It is a great pigment ink for sentiments!

The HOP Prize is a $20 Serendipity Stamps Gift Certificate
to a random commenter.
You can leave comments from Wednesday through Sunday
and Mary will announce the winner on Monday.

The 50% off Stamp of the Month is:

Simple Flowers Cling Stamp Set

Very cool background. It is a perfect complement to the image. I've been thinking about trying out those new inks and you have inspired me to do so, TFS

I have never been a fan of riding roller
coasters. I love this one - I can
"ride" it and not get queazy.
Great shading in the background.
thanks for sharing.

Really love this! Fired Brick hasn't ever been my 'go to' colour, but I love how you have used it here.

I have wanted a roller-coaster stamp for a long while, and the sentiment with this one make the set a perfect choice! Your background is fascinating, and a great way to use the new oxide inks.
