Serendipity Stamps - APRIL Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Serendipity Stamps APRIL Blog Hop!
We do our HOP's on the 3rd Wednesday of the month.

To enter the HOP Contest to win you can leave comments on the
Design Team's Blogs through Sunday, April 24.

The prize is a $20 gift certificate to Serendipity Stamps.
Mary will announce the winner on her blog on Monday, April 25.

This month the theme is "Embossing".
Check out the SSCB here to play along in our monthly challenge.
We are just about 1/2 way through the month so you still have time!

The Design Team has an added challenge on this hop to include
Get Well/Thinking of You/Sympathy in our projects.

You should have arrived here from:

I made two cards to share with you today.  My first card has heat embossing on the
image and sentiment.  I used a Canvas paper which is bumpy and doesn't take
stamping ink so well. So, using my MISTI tool I stamped them twice using
Versafine ink then clear embossed them.

The finished size is 4 1/2 square.

For my second card I used the new Sympathy die.
The layout is from the MOJO Monday 422 Challenge on April 4.

I heat embossed the word WITH from the small With Sympathy stamp.
I thought the font looked good with the Sympathy font.

The finished size is an A-2.

Next on the HOP is:

Here is the order of the HOP:

Julie Warner
Karen Amidon

The special for the hop is free shipping on all US orders $20 and up  – good Wednesday through Sunday 4/20 – 4/24.

The 50% off  stamp of the month for April is the Adirondack Chair:  http://www.serendipitystamps.com/product/712G.html

The sympathy card would be appreciated
for its calm demeanor. These are not
cards we like to send at any time.
I love that open book - as a retired librarian
I always like to see bookish stamps.
thanks for sharing.
