Serendipity Stamps - JUNE Blog Hop!!

Welcome to the Serendipity Stamps JUNE Blog Hop!
Can you believe SUMMER is just a few days away?!

You should have arrived here from the talented:
Marybeth Lopez

I have two cards to show you.  Birds are definitely my theme today!

My first card uses the darling new Bird House stamp.  I decided to keep it simple with colors and format.  The background of the card base was stamped with the Wood Background stamp to go with the wood of the bird house.
.

The bird came from the NEW Bird Bath stamp.  I stamped it, colored it, cut it out and popped it with silicone.  I did the same with the butterfly.

Inside I stamped the Bird House again to dress up the liner.
The finished size is an A-2.

My second card uses the new Bird Bath stamp.
Isn't it cute?!?!?  I just love the little bird.

It is colored with Copics and I added a cute little "Thanks" tag.
Did you know Serendipity has all kinds of little words you can buy for $1 or less?

The inside is finished off with the same stamp in red.
The finished size is 4 3/8 x 4 3/8.

Beautiful cards.
The wood house really lends itself to plain stamping with no coloring.
The second card is great too.
Love how the insides are also embellished. I never think to do that.
thanks for sharing.

Love these cards. My favorite is the first one. The woodgrain of the background is wonderful and I loved the layers you created. The color scheme is cool and I love how you finished the inside. Well done.

These are both so pretty, Miriam! Love the uncolored birdhouse on the first w/ the little red bird added. Your second is just lovely w/ the framing & colors.
