Serendipity Challenge Blog - Chalk!

Chalk is the thing this week for the Serendipity Stamps Blog Challenge!  Just use it on your card or project along with a Serendipity stamp or die to play along for a chance to win a prize!  I used a bit of red chalk around the edges of the cardinal image.

Here is how I did the green mat behind the bird image.

I die cut a piece with green paper with the same die I used on the bird image.

Next, I cut the green paper into 4 pieces as shown.

Then, just add adhesive to the backside of the image and place each green piece so 1/16" shows.

Here is the inside of the card.  I used the CUTE Merry Merry Merry stamp.
Finished size is 4 1/4" square.

I also made a tag with the Midnight Clear stamp.

I used Emboss It ink to stamp the image on white shimmer paper then I lightly rubbed navy blue chalk over it with a sponge.  There is a nice little shimmer to it because of the paper.
Finished size is 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches.
