Decorate Your Envelopes!

Our challenge this week from Serendipity Stamps is to decorate an envelope with stamps!  I had just made this rooster card so I thought I'd make a matching envelope because it is an odd size.

I started with a piece of Jenni Bowlin 12 x 12 paper and cut it down to 10 x 10.  It is scored at 3 3/4 from the ends on each side.  This gives me plenty of room for the 6 x 6 card.
Stamping and inking the edges is the fun part!  I figured out which corner would be the bottom flap on the backside and stamped the little rooster on it.

Here is the front side of the envelope all ready for postage and an address. It will give the recipient a hint of what's inside!

And here is the backside of the envelope.  The size is 6 3/4 x 6 3/4.  I hope you enjoyed my little tutorial!

Check out what the rest of the Design Team made:

We would love for you to play along in our challenge for a prize.  See the details HERE.
