Repeat Impressions Sketch Challenge Nov 16

It's time for another Repeat Impressions Sketch Challenge!  For this challenge I used the Vase of Tulips stamp to go with my Cosmo Cricket paper.  I stamped the image and sentiment with black ink and colored the tulips with a few Copics and paper pieced the vase.  The scalloped oval mat on the sentiment was a little too wide so I cut it in half lengthwise and glued it back together to make it slimmer.  Copics used were: R22, R24, R27, E51, G24, G28 and BG11.  Finished size is 4.5 x 6.

You can find the details on The House that Stamps Built.  You can also see the design team's sketch cards there.  A $25 gift certificate for Repeat Impressions stamps is up for grabs, so be sure to play along!

  • Stamps: Repeat Impressions - Vase of Tulips 1317-L, Congratulations 8621-E
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Versafine Onyx Black
  • Paper: Cosmo Cricket Early Bird 6x6, Neenah Bright White, SU! Poppy Parade & Black
  • Other: Copics, SU! Window punch
  • Spellbinders:  Petite Scalloped Oval Nesties, Labels 17

So beautiful, Miriam! Love the paper-pieced vase and your wonderful coloring. Great idea to cut the oval down, too!

So very, very pretty. Love that you anchored it on your background and the black mat.
