This week's challenge over at Serendipity Stamps is "On or In the Water"! So, I took these Canadian geese over water (sorry, not "on" or "in") to create my card. I started with the black embossed stamp image and sentiment and added some new Tim Holtz Kraft Resist paper. I colored the Kraft Resist paper up with Chipped Sapphire ink first. For the image I added a tiny bit of Copic color to the geese and cattails for interest. Sanding the Chipped Sapphire cardstock gave it a distressed look without looking too sloppy.
Finished size is 8 x 5.5 (it's BIG!)
Check out what the other SS design team members came up with:
- Ink: SU! Basic Black Craft Ink, Ranger Chipped Sapphire
- Paper: SU! Kraft, Tim Holtz Kraft Resist & Core'dinations paper, black cardstock
- Other: Clear embossing powder, Copics, Tim Holtz button, block sander, twine, Spellbinders Nesties Classic Squares & Rectangles

Great job with this challenge, Miriam. I really like the layout of this oversized card, and the DP you used!
Hi Miriam,
What a lovely card! Beautiful shades of blue and wonderful stamps. I really like that DP you used too!
Thanks for stopping by my blog and for your nice comment on my card. And thanks for catching that I didn't include the sentiment in my write up - it's a clear stamp from Mark's Finest Papers/Speedy the Cat's Designer Collection Flourishes and Frame set. I updated my post so others will know too.
Hugs,
Linda
