SSCB #57 Just Add Water!

This months Challenge is to JUST ADD WATER!  You can use
a water related image or use watercolors.  I did both.
You can find all the details to play along HERE.

I used a stamp block to make my background.  I added 3 colors of ink,
spritzed it with water and then pressed it into the watercolor paper.
I added a little extra water to blend the colors.
At the bottom of the card I added drops of Viva Gold Pen and colored sand.

For the shells, I clear embossed them with Vintage Sepia Ink and
painted them with Distress Ink.
The finished size is an A-2.

Miriam I love this card! The background is gorgeous and the tiny bit of sand on the bottom and the little bit of "coral" behind the shell are perfect touches. A great way to "Just Add Water" 2 ways!

Miriam, I left you a comment earlier in the week, but apparently, blogger is playing hide-and-seek with it! Trying again...Such an incredibly pretty card with the lovely background, the ocean images and the coloured sand! Love that authentic touch! Carrying the shells-theme inside adds to the impact; my poor cards are often left blank. Something I certainly need to think about doing - adds a sense of 'polish and finish' to the design. Thrilled to be on the team with you...already feeling sparks of inspiration!
