Serendipity Stamps - December BLOG HOP!

It's the first Friday of the month and that means another
BLOG HOP from Serendipity Stamps!
You should have arrived here from Marybeth Lopez's blog.

Leave comments on the Design Team's blogs through
Sunday, December 6 for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to
Serendipity Stamps. Mary will announce the winner on
her blog on Monday, December 7.

Its been awhile since I made a set of cards and a box.  The Serendipity
Angel die was just the right embellishment for the front of the box.
I die cut it twice and cut the cream layer into 2 pieces
and glued them behind the blue angel to create a shadow.

Here is the outside of the box before I assembled it.
I used the Envelope Punch Board to create the box and envelopes.
Decorate your box before you assemble it and place
your magnetic closures under the paper.

This is the inside of the box before assembly.  The paper for the box is
7 1/2 x 7 1/2 and the first score mark is at 2 3/4.  After the first score and punch slide the paper to the left by 1 inch.  Punch and score again.
Then, follow the directions for making an envelope but each
paper side has 2 score marks and 2 punches.

For the back of the box I die cut the angel into the blue layer
then backed it with the cream and tan text paper.

Inside the box I put 4 THANK YOU cards and envelopes.  I stamped the
inside or outside of the cards with a Serendipity Stamp.

The box measures 4 3/4" x 3 3/8" with a depth of 3/4".
The envelopes are 4 1/4" x 3 1/8". The cards measure 4" x 3".

Next on the HOP is the talented Vickie Zimmer!

The Serendipity Stamps special is 40% off the highest priced item in the cart.
This will be the last sale of the year!
The coupon code is “40fromhigh1215”

I used to do this but like you, it has been awhile. Thanks so much for sharing how to use the envelope punch to make a box. I have puzzled over this many times. Will get right on my own sets of cards for Christmas presents. Thanks for your beautiful inspiration!
