SSCB #46 - Anything Goes!

It's a new month so we have a new theme over at the
This month it's Anything Goes!  As long as you use at least one Serendipity image or die, you can play along!  Check out the blog for the details.

The new little bird dies are so cute and fun to color and assemble!  You can mix and match the accessories including: top hat, spring hat, holly, worm, cap and flowers.  I added the 1/4" punched circle for color around his eye.

Birdie close-up!  I used a VIVA black paper pen for his eye.

Inside the card I just used some paper scraps to finish it off.
Finished size is 4 x 4.

My second card uses the same bird decked out a little differently.  I die cut his body in dark brown and blue.  I colored his head with a grey COPIC marker and cut out a body from the blue.  His wing was die cut from some matching paper.  I inked the edges of everything before I glued him together.

Here is a close-up of the little guy.  I intentionally offset the
wing from his body so you could see the wing below.
This card is an A-2.

The 50% off Stamp of the month is Veggie Basket Large:

Check out what the rest of the Design Team made:

  • Stamps: Serendipity Stamps - Bird Dies 063JD
  • Ink: Colorbox - Cat's Eye: Charcoal, Black
  • Paper:  Authentique - Harmony 6x6, Misc card stock - red, black, brown
  • Other: Wild Orchid flower, Impression Obsession - branch die & leaf branch die, VIVA Paper-Pen - Black, 1/4" hole punch, COPIC marker - C8
