Serendipity Summer Release Blog Hop - Day 2

It is day 2 of the Serendipity Stamps Summer Release Blog Hop!  Today I have a verse stamp to show off.  I let the verse be the focus of the card and just embellished it with patterned paper and die cuts.

I paired this lovely verse up with Graphic 45's new line of paper called Come Away With Me.  The sentiment matched the theme of the paper which is world travel.

As you can tell from the close up I did 2 layers with foam tape for dimension.  The cute little baggage tag is part of the paper and I just cut it out and added some little extra elements.

Inside the card I added some paper scraps and this great post card.  I stamped Miss You on it in Broken China ink and added the strip of cities at the bottom.
This one is a bigg'un!  Finished size is 8 1/4 x 4 1/2.

If you comment on the postings you'll be in the running for a $20 Gift Card!  The more you comment, the greater your chance to win!
You can comment through Tuesday and the winner will be announced on Wednesday.
If you place an order you will get a Free Mini Grab Bag (minimum order: $20)!

Check out the Design Team's creations!  Here is the HOP order:

  • Stamps: Serendipity Stamps - And I think to Myself E1311, Miss You Small 624B
  • Ink: Distress Ink - Broken China, Versafine - Toffee, Cat's Eye - Creamy Brown Chalk
  • Paper:  Graphic 45 - Come Away With Me 8 x 8 & 6 x 6, Blue card stock

Fantastic! Great idea to use the DP behind the sentiment which I really like. The line of trains is perfect here!

Great choice of using landscape orientation on your design, which made the best display for the train! What would be the point of traveling without a "Wonderful World" to get out there and see?
