Serendipity: Monochrome Birdhouse

This week's challenge over at Serendipity Stamps is a Monochromatic theme.  So, I took this musical little bird and his house to create my card.  I started with the stamp image and added Graphic 45's music paper from their Botanical Collection.  I was hard for me not to add other colors, especially green!

The image is heat embossed with black pigment ink and clear embossing powder then colored with Copics.  I used: E31, E33, E37, Y23, Y26 and the colorless blender.  I airbrushed around the image with several colors then went around it with the colorless blender to make it stand out.    Finished size is 5.5 x 5.5.  Here is the inside:
Check out what the other SS design team members came up with:
Jenny AnyaKathie and Lynda....
  • Ink: SU! Basic Black Craft Ink, Memento Tuxedo Black
  • Paper: Neenah Baronial Ivory, Graphic 45 Botanical 12x12, black cardstock
  • Other:  Clear embossing powder, Copics, ABS, metal flowers and brads, SU! black rhinestone swirls, sewing machine & black thread, Spellbinders Nesties Labels 1
