I am now a member of the Serendipity Stamps Design Team! The challenge this week is hand made gift wrapping and since I love Serendipity's Wine stamps, I wanted to make a wine bag and tag. The bag was so tall it wouldn't fit in my light tent so I had to take a picture of it the old fashioned way. Here is a close up of the top of the bag and tag.
I took apart an old worn out wine gift bag and made a template out of it to make my black bag. I recycled the handles and used my Scor-Pal to make my folding score marks. I gold embossed the grapes on the bag and clear embossed WINE with black pigment ink on the tag. Then I rubbed aged mahogany ink over the image to make it stand out against the patterned paper. I reinforced the bag at the handles and bottom with extra cardstock for strength.
Check out what everyone else came up with today:
ps. Lynda will be posting later in the morning on Thursday.
