A few weeks ago I took a class from Stacy of Stacy Stamps at a local stamp store. She has beautiful nature images and I especially love her flowers. We did a card with a slim panel like the one above and I just had to recreate it. After you stamp the image you cover it with a slim rectangle of cardboard or cardstock so that some of the image sticks out on either side. Make a pencil mark around the rectangle and hand cut it out around the flowers that stick out. Color, mat and you're done!
Finished card is an A-2 and the floral panel is adhered with foam tape. The edges of the card are embossed with my Scor-Buddy.

Absolutely gorgeous and so elegant at the same time!
So summery and cheery -- clean lines with the bold color and white background --- totally just pops right out at you! I love it!
