Not as it seems.....

This week's Serendipity Stamps challenge is very unusual!  It is "Not as it seems".  The Design Team was asked to use a stamp in a different way than it was intended.  I chose the garden wagon stamp and converted it to a holiday wagon.  I filled it with presents from the Sleigh stamp.

I stamped the wagon by inking up just the lower portion of the image and using a craft knife, I cut a slit along the top of the wagon.  Then I stamped the presents from the sleigh a few times on scraps, colored them and cut them out and slid them under the slit. I had to piece the wagon arm so it wouldn't be hidden by presents.

My intention was to create a pine swag to drape on the wagon using Martha's branch punch.  I had to cut the little pieces apart and place them on the wagon with a tweezer.

Here are the 2 images I started with:
We would love for you to play along in our challenge for a prize. "Anything Goes" is the theme so you don't have to do what the Design Team did!   See the details HERE.

Look at this! I love this Miriam...how smart of you to piece so many things together and the pine bough around your cart looks perfect. This looks like a stamp that was designed this way. Great job!
