Butterfly Challenge

Our Creative Corner's challenge this week is to use butterflies!  Easy for me because I love them and have lots of stamps and paper with butterflies! There are so many varieties and colors, what's not to love?

I've been on a Graphic 45 roll lately and I've used their Olde Curiosity Shoppe paper to make a bunch of cards.  Here is one of them that fits the challenge.

There is no stamping on this card at all.  It is all die cuts and cut outs from the paper. Finished size is an A2.  Enjoy!
  • Stamps:  NONE!
  • Ink: NONE!
  • Paper: Graphic 45 - Olde Curiosity Shoppe 8x8 and 12x12, PTI Black
  • Other: Spellbinders - Labels 4, corner rounder, rhinestone swirls, green ribbon

BIG Bee SSSC98 & OCCC

This week's challenge at Our Creative Corner is to make a thank you card using blues and creams for color, some metal, and some vellum.  I combined it with the SSSC98 Design Challenge (for the layout) and here is what I created.  Some of my stamping friends think I'm strange for liking interesting bug stamps and paper - too BAD!  I think this Judikins bee is GREAT and it fit in with the new SU! Botanical Gazette DSP. The wings are vellum stamped with navy ink and clear embossed. Size is 5 x 4.75.
  • Stamps:  JUDIKINS 2340 H Big Bee, SU! sentiment : Fundamental Phrases
  • Ink: SU! Craft:  Night of Navy & Not Quite Navy
  • Paper: SU! : Botanical Gazette DSP, Not Quite Navy, Naturals Ivory, vellum cardstock
  • Other: yellow gemstones, SU! Word Window punch, vintage brads, CM circle cutters, Fiskars scalloped scisssors, clear EP, heat gun
