Graphic 45 - Little Women Cards

This weekend I put together some Little Women Cards from

Graphic 45's new line of paper.  Tim's new Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide

ink is the perfect match to the bright blue in the line!

The card base is hand cut to match the die shape.

This one is an A-2 size with stitched die cut layers from My Favorite Things.

The pink rose is curled and popped with silicone.

This ones a 6 1/4" x 5" big card.  In the picture you can barely see it 

but there is a G45 key glued above the gingham bow.

Lots of layers on this 4 7/8" square card with a black base.

These cards are on display at Impressive Ideas in Norcross, Georgia!

Today I'm showcasing one of Mary's new sentiment stamps!

Awhile ago I was working on an all blue card and I wished I had

the sentiment, "I'm BLUE without you".  So, I asked Mary 

to create one and she did!

I used 2 colors of Distress Oxide inks for the sentiment,

The whole sentiment is stamped in Salty Ocean then I went

over BLUE with Faded Jeans using my MISTI tool.

Here is the inside view.  
The card measures 5 1/8 x 3 7/8.

Serendipity Stamps - February Blog Hop #1

Welcome to Serendipity's 1st Blog Hop for February!

I've made 2 lip balm holders with Serendipity's stamps and dies.

The first one uses the Shamrock die and the Make a Wish stamp.

My 2nd one has the cute heart die and Love Inside stamp.  

I used red alcohol inks on glossy paper for the red scroll heart die. 

Using inked paper prevents it from looking so flat.

Here is a side view.  The liner on the inside holds the lip balm

in place.  Its fun and easy packaging for a special Valentine!

Serendipity Stamps - December Blog Hop #2

Welcome to the last Blog Hop of the year for Serendipity Stamps!

Today I have a lovely NOEL die highlighted.  This card was one of

the projects I taught in my recent Christmas Card class.  The NOEL 

die was the perfect sentiment for the chipboard circle on my card.

Here is a closeup of how the die is popped up from the center of the

circle.  I used tiny slivers of foam tape behind parts of the letters

to give it support.  I glued several of the NOEL die cuts together

to make it a little thick and easier to work with.

Inside I used the sentiment from the FOR UNTO US stamp set.

I just love the font!  Finished size is 4 1/4" square.

Also from the FOR UNTO US stamp set is this cute Nativity

scene and KING sentiment.  They are colored with Chameleon

colored pencils and the tag is a Bo Bunny die.

It is 4 1/4" tall.

Serendipity Stamps - November Blog Hop #1

I used the CUTE new Embroidered Bird stamps 

on my mini box and cards.

The box is 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 and the cards are 2 3/4 square.  

I used my Envelope Punch Board to make the box.  

My paper measured 6 x 6 and my first score mark and punch

is at 2 1/2 and my second score mark is at 3 1/4. 

Rotate paper counterclockwise

and score and punch twice on each side to make the box.

Serendipity Stamps - JULY Blog Hop #1!

Summertime makes me think of flowers so I pulled out

this wonderful Sunflower die.

It pairs up perfectly with Graphic 45's French Country collection which has

recently been rereleased as a Collection Pack.

The background for the sentiment and paper for the yellow part of

the sunflower were colored with Distress Oxide Ink.

Inside I used the Daisy Garden die for a bit of style.

Finished size is 4 5/8 x 5 7/8.

MOJO Monday 488 - G45 Portrait of a Lady

I just love the colors of the new Graphic 45 Portrait of a Lady papers.

This week's MOJO Monday 488 sketch is a simple one 

and easy to replicate using just about any paper or stamped images.

Inside I kept it simple as well with some patterned paper

and a fussy cut image. The finished size is an A2.

The finished size is 4 3/8" x 3 1/2".

Inside I heat embossed the Sending Lots of Love image.

My second card is a classic square with the same image. You can't tell from the 

picture but the color of the image and papers do match!

Inside I kept it simple and used the LOVE die for the center.
