Summer's Last Hurrah Challenge.
There is still time for you to play along. Details are HERE.
For the Design Team, we are adding a photo challenge to the mix.
We are to take a photo we have and use it for our inspiration.
I chose this picture I took years ago of a butterfly visiting my pee gee hydrangea in late summer. The pee gees don't bloom here in Atlanta until July and the blooms last for months, sometimes changing color. I used the colors in the photo and my butterfly is black to match. Notice the touch of orange on his wings?
Did you notice I used the corner die from the Floral Frame die set at the bottom of my card?
I just die cut it twice and snipped off the ends so they would meet in the middle.
Here is a closeup of the butterfly.
Inside my card I glued the small butterfly from the Floral Frame die set.
I love that there is a small version of the large butterfly!
The finished size is 4 3/4 x 6 1/4.
Serendipity has a new special this week.

Miriam your card and photo are just gorgeous! I just finished reading the book "Flight Behavior" and this card brings it right back into my mind. Love all the little details and the slightly Asian look.
