Welcome to the Serendipity Stamps and The Twinery Blog Hop! For the next 3 days we'll treat you to PRIZES and some great creations using Serendipity Stamps dies and images as well as twine from The Twinery! I have 2 cards to show you today.
You should have arrived here from Christine's blog:

I did a little sewing with the red twine. I poked the holes first then used a needle and thread to do the stitching. I used Tim Holtz's markers and a waterbrush to color my image.
The HELLO image was stamped first and then punched out with an oval punch. The boat image was cut out with a square die.
Inside my 4 x 4 card I stamped the boat image again in Distress Ink.
On to card #2....
On to card #2....
I used the Serendipity Lighthouse die and the red twine again for my second card. The clouds are craft paint applied with my finger. I think it gives them a natural shape and look!
This card is an A-2 and I embossed a line down the right side of the card base for interest.

I think both of these cards are fantastic. I love the twine used around the square to highlight the boat image. The craft paint clouds look great on the second one.
