I have a few Halloween cards to show you today and I used Serendipity's new Owl Die.
I paired him up with Cheery Lynn's 4 inch clock die from their Steampunk Series. They just seemed to go together! The bottom layer is colored with Copics and I put the same paper behind his eyes as the base layer of my card. Rhinestones adorn his eyes.
I put foam tape behind him and pearls at each number. You can find my owl tutorial HERE.
I had to do this card again in green! It is much brighter in the picture than in real life! Ugh!
Both cards are 5 inches square.
- Stamps: none!
- Ink: Cat's Eyes - Blackbird
- Paper: Black Linen, Kraft, Neenah Natural White, Echo Park - Chillingsworth Manor 6x6
- Dies: Serendipity Stamps - Owl 1290ED, Cheery Lynn - Clock with Angel Wing
- Other: Perfect Layers, pearls, Copics, rhinestones
Here is another picture of some Owls I made.....

When I saw this owl with the clock I immediately thought of The Nutcracker Ballet - when the clock counts down to midnight in Clara's living room! But of course, they make GREAT Halloween cards!
These are all fabulous! I love the colourful owls, and he sits perfectly on that clock face! Great job!
