Paper Roses

These paper roses were made with the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die.  My friends Marcy and Jenny taught me how to make them along with a little help from a video from Tim Holtz.  The tag was inspired by Tim's 2009 12 Tags of Christmas, day 12.  He used a Sizzix flower die so the roses look different.  These are made from cream cardstock, Grungepaper or scrapbook paper.  Mine are spritzed with Ranger's Perfect Pearls Mist, either copper or pearl and edged in glitter glue.  I found some thin copper wire on my desk from another project so I wound it around a stick and added the tendrils to some of the roses.  Enjoy!
I am getting a light tent soon so my photos will be improving!

Stamps: Inkadinkado swirl, Hero Arts script
Ink: Ranger Distress Inks, Versafine Vintage Sepia and Crimson Red
Paper: cream cardstock, Grungepaper, SU Newsprint, Holtz Lost and Found
Other: blending tool, Prima pearl & rhinestone swirls, glitter glue, Glossy Accents, Tattered Florals die, ribbons

WOW! Those are amazing... Please, please dip one in resin/nail polish and glue/sew it to an alligator clip or a hair clip so one could wear one in their hair, or on their purse etc... Awesome Miriam.
