It's been so warm here in Atlanta that I spent Sunday working in my garden.  I don't have any tulips or daffodils but if I did, they would be up already!  I've seen them all over town.  I fear March is going to be really cold! I colored up the flowers for spring with Copics and even colored the background with a very light blue.  I used my new greens on some of the leaves, G43 and G46.

This week's challenge at Serendipity Stamps is to do a project with a photo.  So, I took a photo I had taken last summer in my garden and stamped "Summer" on it with Stazon ink.  I matted it a few times and attached it to a lime green card.  Finished size is 4 1/2 x 5 7/8. Serendipity Stamps has challenged us to do a "TEA" themed project.  My card is a long one inspired by the asian teapot stamps.  So, naturally I used washi paper!  I have TONS of it and don't use it often anymore.  I colored my pots with Copics and popped them after stamping the one with the handle on the paper.  Finished size is 7.75 x 3.75. This week's Serendipity Stamps Challenge is to make a shaped card!  I thought this rose wreath was the perfect stamp for the challenge.  I stamped the roses twice and colored and cut out the 2nd ones for dimension. One last Halloween card for you to see!  I used a few new products by Memory Box that I just love.  I die cut the embossed image with Labels 22 and while still in the die, I ran a Micron pen around the inside of the die.  After taking it out of the die I ran a reddish Copic marker (E08) around the border, a tip I got from my friend Jenny.   The fun swirl in the corner is a new die by Memory

I really liked the PP65 challenge this week so I thought I'd make a Flourishes fall card with it.  I colored the corn with Copics and used Bo Bunny paper to go with it.  The seam binding is colored with E44, scrunched up and tied with the Bow Easy tool. Coloring it with Copics really gave it body. Copic colors used: R27, BG0000, BG72, BG18, E19, E44, E47, YR20, YR23, & Colorless Blender.

It's time for another Repeat Impressions Sketch Challenge!  For this challenge I used the Butterfly stamp to go with my Jillibean Soup paper. The butterfly is stamped on the same orange paper as the background.  His body is glued down and his wings are popped.  For the center diamond, I glued the 2 layers together before I sent it through the embossing folder.  Finished size is 4 1/2 inches

Here is another Stamp of the Week from Repeat Impressions.  This beautiful SWAN inspired me to create a scene with grass and water.  I stamped the swan first then masked it and stamped the grass and water around it.  I kept the mask on the swan when I airbrushed it so she would stay white.  I highlighted her with a little grey and added some glitter glue to the water.  The clouds were also masked

I love this great scene from Impression Obsession!  The watering cans and hiding kitty are so cute.  I colored it up with my Copics and did some layering.  Some die cut leaves and 2 Prima flowers finish it off. Today I'd like to show you a daisy card I made for Impressive Ideas.  I decided to keep it simple and use kraft cardstock and vintage sepia ink.  I heat set the ink so I could use my Copics for coloring (lightly!)  The butterfly is cut out and popped. Repeat Impression's Stamp of the Week is the cute Footbridge stamp.  You can get it for 1/2 price through next Sunday.  I mostly used my airbrush system (ABS) to color this image while it was still in the nestie.  I did a little masking and added some extra green in another color to the grass.  A bit of glitter glue added some shimmer to the water. Isn't this a lovely birdhouse and clematis vine?!!  I borrowed the stamp from my friend Sue and had a great time coloring it up!  For a change I used my Derwent Inktense Pencils and a waterbrush.  They are stronger colors than watercolor pencils and slightly opaque.  I airbrushed the blue sky before I took it out of the die.   Finished size is 4 x 8.5.Have a GREAT Labor Day Weekend everyone!

This week's challenge over at Serendipity Stamps is "Stripes and Dots".  An easy challenge especially if you use an image that already has stripes and dots!  So, this pumpkin stamp was perfect.  Stamping on patterned paper is the quickest way to make an interesting card to me.  I also paper pieced the leaves, pumpkin and stem.  The pumpkin is highlighted with Copics and I edged the layers with
